how said student was the one to ultimately defeat suguru because he was willing to die for his friends. how yuta didn’t care about any foolish lie the sorcerers (aka suguru and kento) told themselves and fully accepted that dying for love was the right thing to do.

I Hope AE doesn't just 'fix' OJ's flaws. His most interesting aspect is that he's never had to face consequence before. He breaks alliances twice, but it's fine because he's easily accepted into new ones. Everything just comes to him! He does nothing to deserve his win.

And AE could have neglected how he acts in season 1, turned him into this kind caregiver character BUT THEY DIDN'T!! I LOVE IT. Like, s2 episode 7. Everything abt that episode just accentuates his flaws. He makes everything abt him. You don't know who got eliminated? Just pick someone at random, blame them if they try to argue. They're in the way.

Doesn't even stop to think about what needs to be done for the challenge, his priority is fixing his own hotel.

He's always been encouraged as someone good. A good person. He overworks himself for his guests, he's well liked. Episode 18 just proves he never even saw his selfishness.

He's been like this his entire existance. That's not any easy thing to change. But now there's no more magic. He can't avoid that side of himself anymore. I hope reality comes crashing down on him.
